Rolling Stones Pinball Sells for $3,750

It took just one bid in a recent eBay auction to secure a barely used rock collectible, when a fan dropped $3,750 on a Rolling Stones pinball machine. The 2011 game, featuring the pared-down current four-piece edition of the band, includes a ramp styled after the Stones’ famous tongue logo.

In the game, players collect signature albums, advancing through four decades of rock history. Stern, the manufacturer, says other features include a “moving Mick [Jagger] target,” and that the pinball machine “plays 13 original Rolling Stones songs.” It listed new for $5,700.

The seller said he’d owned the Stern pinball machine for just five months and was being forced to give it up because of health problems. The Rolling Stones had earlier been featured on a Bally-manufactured machine, produced in 1980. Former bassist Bill Wyman appears on that one.
